Job Title: Senior CPA – Financial Reporting & Analysis

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, tax compliance, and strategic financial planning. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management to ensure the accuracy of financial records and provide key insights to drive the company’s financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
• Ensure compliance with all accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
• Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

• CPA certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or corporate finance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
