Staff Auditor – Fort Lauderdale

We are currently looking for Staff Auditors to join our Fort Lauderdale Audit Team. The range of compensation is $67,000-$74,000, including annual bonus. Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting is required.

Daily Responsibilities

A staff auditor at Hacker, Johnson & Smith PA works in a collaborative and fast paced environment with the rest of our team of senior auditors, managers and partners. Ideal candidates are expected to have the ability to problem solve independently and also effectively communicate in a team setting.

The staff auditor is responsible for performing tests of controls over financial reporting and substantively and analytically testing the balance sheet and income statement.

The staff auditor also is expected to assist in recalculation/verification procedures of the financial statements leading up to the report release date. This role has a high exposure to financial reporting, communicating with upper-level management of our clients and much more.
